Something EXCITING!

Something really exciting happened today (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

A whole group of us were supposed to head down to city hall from China town (THE THIRD TIME FOR ME) and meet Yi who was going to bring us to Ground Zero.

As we turned the corner of a park, this greeted us:


A whole group of reporters outside some building. There were many satellite vans around as well. These things had HUGE antennas (and i mean, huge, like about 3 stories in height) on top of them.

We were thinking 'oh, maybe someone's having some filming'.
Then, when we asked some of the camera men who were on the same side of the road as us, they told us that inside there was BERNIE MADOFF!

It was the Federal Court (I think. Kor/Ying jie, correct me if I'm wrong, I have no idea about Courts and stuff) and BERNIE MADOFF was being trialed!

When I heard that, I went like celebrity crazy and started taking pics. It was financial history being played out in front of my eyes !

Ok la, I'm kinda over-reacting, but whatever. haha.

If you guys haven't already read about madoff, go read up! If you guys know about madoff, you probably should already know he was allowed bail later that day.

We hung around there for about half an hour before the bitter cold got the better of us and we had to leave.

This is NOT the antenna im talking about. This is a satellite van. The Antenna Van is another kind, didnt get a pic of it though. :(

Well, after that we headed down to city hall as planned. Btw, there was also a helicoptor flying above the federal court! SO cool hor.

Later that evening, Yi and I went up to Columbia area (It's north -west of Central park, u have to drag the map on the right upwards to see columbia area!) to meet DEAR SENGTECK!

The guy's the same , as usual. Funny, helpful and mindful of the less fortunate. heh. =D
